Policy
What we can accept as green waste for composting:
- Any type of tree wood, branches or leaves
- Bush or hedge trimmings
- Lawn cuttings
- Sawdust and shavings
What we cannot accept as green waste for composting:
- Any of the above mixed in with soil/hardcore
- Plastics, litter, refuse
- Fence panels
- Demolition wood waste that includes painted or plastic coatings
- Chipboard, plywood, MDF or other processed wood products
Other waste we can recycle:
- We are currently assessing our ability to process clean demolition wood, and would be happy to discuss your requirements. Please call for details
- Trade and domestic garden waste
